| Staples for
Hotchkiss No. 1 Stapler/Paper Fastener for Sale. These
staples fit strip staplers and tackers made during 1898-1930 by companies such as
Compo, Crofoot, Greenfield, Hotchkiss, and Irwin, as well as European
companies. They do not fit
the larger Hotchkiss No. 2, 3, or 4 staplers or the Hotchkiss No. 5 tacker. Staples come in
strips of 40 to 80 staples. Original box not included. These
staples are no longer made. We also have available a Hotchkiss No. 1 stapler with the original 1898 design, as well as a German stapler from c. 1910 that is identical except for the decoration. Please inquire. |
$18 per 1,000 staples, nickel
plated steel. $6 per 1,000 staples, same as above but a bit of superficial rust, which you almost entirely rub off with a toothbrush so that the nickel plated finish is virtually restored. $10 per 1,000 staples, original grey metal, likely made during WWII when nickel was rationed. |
